Ways To Increase Your Credit Score Quickly - Part 2

Ways To Increase Your Credit Score Quickly - Part 2

There are not a lot of ways to increase your credit score quickly and like I showed you in part 1 two of the best ways to increase your credit score is to ask for a limit increase and get another credit line of some kind. If you have not yet read part 1 of this 2 part series then you should do so now. If you only read part 2 you won't have all the knowledge that you need in order to increase your credit score as much or as quickly as possible.
Like I said in part 1 that most important step in this entire process of increasing your credit score is that you simply take action right away. The sooner you take action the sooner you will be able to increase your credit score to the number you want. So follow these next 2 steps and be that much closer.
Consolidate accounts
Something that most people don't do is consolidate accounts. The entire reason for consolidation your accounts is to make sure you can do more with the other accounts that you have. For example if you had 6 different accounts and you decided to consolidate all of them onto just 1 account you would have the others that you can most likely increase your limit and at the same time increase your credit score.
The thing I like about consolidating accounts is that you free up a lot of money and debt that by simply restructuring it. If you are opposed to consolidations then I bet you have not even learned much about the. The most common reason for people to not like a consolidation is because they hear bad things, not that they have actually learned about them for themselves.
Check for discrepancies in your credit report
According to Personal-Finance-Information.com, this is perhaps the most critical of all the methods because something that most people don't even do is check their current credit report for discrepancies. With all the people who have had their credit and identities stolen it is a shame that not more people are using the credit reporting agencies for their own good. These agencies are there to help you when you need them and if you want to check your credit report every month than do so. I don't recommend doing it that much, I only suggest checking your credit report once every 3 - 4 months
When you check your credit report look for accounts that you may not have ever had or accounts that should be paid off. Many people get hurt by their creditors because they don't report that the account has been paid off and because of this your credit report will look like you have more debt than you actually do.
These two methods along with the 2 methods from part 1 will surely get your credit score back on track and raise it rather fast. The only thing left to do is take action, so I will let you go to either learn more about credit or to actually take action and raise your credit score by a few points within the next few days.
